In bustling urban environments filled with noise pollution, the natural sounds of the Danube often fade into the background. This project aims to amplify the river’s gentle whispers using sound tubes, inviting us to reconnect with nature despite the constraints of city life.

The installation invites passersby along the Danube channel to pause and listen closely, directing their attention to the flowing water. It encourages reflection on what the river provides for us, what it needs from us, and how we can reciprocate. By posing these questions, Klang Kanal prompts a reevaluation of our relationship with nature in urban settings, emphasising our continuous dependence on healthy water bodies.
